Breaded Turkey Cutlets

Breaded Turkey Cutlets Ingredients: - 1.5 pounds turkey breast, cut into 1/4-inch thick cutlets - 1 cup all-purpose flour - 2 large eggs, beaten - 2 cups breadcrumbs, plain - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese - 1 teaspoon garlic powder - 1 teaspoon onion powder - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper - 1/2 cup vegetable oil, for frying Instructions: 1. Place the turkey cutlets between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound gently with a meat mallet to an even thickness. 2. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. 3. Place the flour in another shallow dish and the beaten eggs in a third shallow dish. 4. Dredge each turkey cutlet in the flour, shaking off any excess. 5. Dip the floured cutlet into the beaten eggs, making sure it's fully coated. 6. Press the egg-coated cutlet into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it's evenly coated on both sides. 7. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. 8. Carefully place the breaded turkey cutlets in the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. 9. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). 10. Remove the cooked turkey cutlets from the skillet and place them on a wire rack or paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. 11. Serve immediately.
