Simple Scrambled Eggs
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Crack the eggs into a bowl.
2. Add the milk, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
3. Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together until well combined and slightly frothy.
4. Place a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
5. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt completely.
6. Pour the egg mixture into the melted butter in the skillet.
7. Let the eggs cook undisturbed for about 30 seconds, or until a thin layer of cooked egg forms on the bottom.
8. Use a spatula to gently push the cooked egg from the edges toward the center of the skillet, allowing the uncooked egg to flow underneath.
9. Continue to cook and gently fold the eggs until they are mostly set but still slightly moist.
10. Remove the skillet from the heat and let the eggs finish cooking from the residual heat.
11. Transfer the scrambled eggs to a plate and serve immediately.
